Tae Bo classes are taught worldwide. Tae Bo includes many of the same punches and hits as Karate, but it is not designed for combat - it is not designed for any combat or self-defense practice. There are no throwing, grabbing moves or ground combat techniques in Tae Bo. Its sole purpose is to increase fitness through movement. Tae Bo also includes aerobic exercises that aim to strengthen all the muscles of the body with basic choreography. High-intensity exercise aims to increase cardiovascular fitness, strength, muscular endurance and flexibility.
